    Sunday 29th January, 2012
    (ANI)

For the first time in Saudi Arabia, women will be allowed to watch football matches.

They will be able to watch the matches in a new stadium that will be completed in 2014 in Jeddah.

The new stadium will include a family section with private cabins and balconies for women who wish to attend the games, the Scotsman reported.

Saudi Arabia's strict interpretation of Islam prohibits unrelated men and women from mingling. (ANI)
