    (ANI)

'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden is set to play Princess Fiona in the stage version of 'Shrek.'

Amanda said playing the jolly green giant's wife in 'Shrek The Musical' is a fairytale role for her and a dream for her four-year-old daughter Lexi.

"I'm so excited but best of all Lexi is telling everyone Mama will be a Green Princess," the Daily Star quoted Holden as saying.

She signed up as Fiona, the part voiced by Cameron Diaz, in the hit films, at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane in May.

Shrek The Musical, featuring original songs played on Broadway from December 2008 to January 2010 and was nominated for eight Tony Awards. (ANI)
