US Toyota owners ask courts to grant refund request
    Mexico Star
    Monday 15th March, 2010

Some Toyota drivers in the US have sued Toyota for a full refund.

Lawsuits have been filed, so far in two states, asking that judgements be made to allow Toyota owners to return vehicles and get their money back.

Toyota already has dozens of lawsuits on its hands after some owners sought compensation for any lost value due to faults, rather than a full refund.

Both types of lawsuits could eventually become class-action suits in an issue which has seen Toyota recalling millions of vehicles in the US because of accelerator sticking problems.
